As an enthusiastic life-long learner, she devotes her time to continuously deepening her own practice which she has been cultivating over the past 30 years. Benjamin Weinstein, PhD
Ben is a Clinical Psychologist and Certified Teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion. He has been a mindfulness practitioner since 2006 and teaches mindfulness and self-compassion in English and Thai. Ben is honored to be a certified teacher of Chris Germer and Kristin Neff’s remarkable Mindful-Self Compassion (MSC) training course. As someone who has spent his entire working life devoted to applying psychological and behavioral science to help people learn, develop, heal, and grow, Ben is profoundly inspired by the proven, transformative power of mindfulness, purpose-guided engaged living, and self-compassion. Our Approach

The program activities include: meditation, short talks, experiential exercises, small and large group discussions, and home practices.

Please look at MSC as an experiential training and not a class. The main goal is for participants to directly experience self-compassion and learn practices that evoke self-compassion in daily life.

The course should not be used as a substitute for psychotherapy, medication or other healthcare. If you have any queries in this regard, please discuss with your health professional before applying.

No previous experience with mindfulness or meditation is required to attend MSC.

To insure safety, participants are asked to provide background information when they register for the program.

Completion: Participants who attend at least 90% of the program will receive a certificate of completion, which is the basis for participation in further MSC training.
Class Preparation:

We recommend you give yourself 20 minutes a day to practice MSC on your own to supplement course content.

Technology needs: A strong, reliable internet connection & access to a computer or tablet that is at least 10 inches. Phones or mini-tablets are not encouraged because they impede our ability to see each other and feel connected during group discussions.

Confidentiality and respect for privacy are important aspects of an MSC class. Please make sure that you are joining class from a private space.

Various assignments will involve writing. Please bring a pen and notepad to each class.
