Mindfulness for Children & Teens

This curriculum is designed for children aged 7-11. The course contains 6 themes which can be taught in twelve 30-minute lessons or six 1-hour lessons. It is a training in concentration and self-awareness which can help young people respond better to the demands of school life as well as in their interactions with peers and family. Children learn about the brain and are introduced to mindfulness in a fun way; taught with visuals, film clips and activities that bring mindfulness to life without losing the integrity of classic mindfulness teaching. It was created by the Mindfulness in Schools Project.

This is a 10-week course (one hour each week), designed for 11-18 year olds. It is a research based program that introduces the practice of mindfulness in a fun way; taught with visuals, film clips and activities that bring mindfulness to life without losing the and integrity of classic mindfulness teaching. This course has been created by the Mindfulness in Schools Project, a non-profit organization whose aim is to encourage, support and research the teaching of secular mindfulness in schools

This has been developed for children aged 5-12. This course is taught for 15 minutes, twice a week, for 8 weeks (lessons and times can be adjusted to meet individual/group needs). Children learn key mindfulness concepts and practices that help cultivate attention skills, emotional regulation, impulse control and kindness.

Mindful Schools Curriculum for
Middle and High School Students

This program is for ages 12-18. This course is taught twice a week, 20 minutes per/lesson, for 9 weeks (lessons and times can be adjusted to meet individual/group needs). The course helps build attention, emotional balance, and empathy.
